Make Your Point Challenge Below
MAKE YOUR POINT Challenge is an activity for members of LQG and that ran from May – December 2023. Each participant provided 1 yard of fabric in a light, in a medium and in a dark color tone. Tone-on-tone fabrics are encouraged to be used.
Groups of six participants exchanged totes of fabrics and made 12″ blocks for each other. Half Square Triangles were used as the technique to create the more than thirty 2″ squares of each block. The contrast of the color tones create interesting designs. Below are two of the finished blocks that are being used.
24 members participated in this and these are the blocks that everyone ended with. Lots of points, lots of colors.
