We had a wonderful 3 days of sewing, talking, eating, talking, sewing and more eating at the Christian Reformed Conference Grounds in Grand Haven. Everyone seemed to accomplish quite a bit, some staying late into the night.

Carla put together a fun charity quilt.Chris got a good start on a small wall hangingBarb checks out her design on the design wall.Connie is paper piecing a block of the week project.Jean is making squares for a group challenge exchange.Love this design that Cyndi made.This is only one of several projects that Leslie worked on.
Some of us even enjoyed a walk on the beach in the 76 degree weather.

Saturday we finsihed up a few projects.
Sue is making a fun hanging for her boys bathroom, TP on the back. Love the little critters.Lisa finished this great Michigan top. That was hard to say.Marilyn hides behind her appliqued butterflys.Marilew put together another charity quilt.Nancy made this baby quilt for charity.Karen brought her quilt blocks on a flannel tablecloth and put them all together at the retreat. Great way to transport.Not sure where Helen gets all these beautiful scraps.Chris is paper pieceing several small hangings.Wendy paper pieced one moth, lots of pieces.Pat finished up this wonderful top.Beth contemplates and then gets it all put together.Marilew with charity quilt top number 2.
As you can see we each had our own table, lots of ironing and cutting stations were set up. And there may have been pie involved.

Sunday is always a time to finish up and get help from a friend.
Barb made good progress on these tiny scrappy squares.Bobbie is working on this very colorful quilt.Pat very precisely pieced a stack of these blocks.Marilyn’s quilts are always amazing. Just look at the detail with the little people and the tiny blocks.Beth worked on several different projects.Kay found some great fabric in her sewing room.Janet pieced these little squares to form a wonderful placemat to be given to someone getting Meals on Wheels Kim made several “Tankinis” and some very pretty blocks.Margarete spent a lot of time with her seam ripper, but she did not give up. Very tricky piecing.The bag lady also known as Joan, is making 5 beautiful bags for gifts.Kathy is putting the binding on this Celtic type quilt.Sally sewed together 512 triangle pieces, and is now trimming them. Great scraps.Carla hides behind a charity project.This is an ongoing project for Kathy, so pretty.Shelly is doing circles for the first time. Great job and design by Missouri Star.Wendy made two small wallets. The pattern is Koin Keeper by This & That. Handy little wallet.Paper piecing challenge, but Nancy made a great block with the help from Wendy.Nancy also made several cover ups for people in a rehab where her daughter works.
