For the October meeting we had five members who volunteered to share some tips and techniques that work for them in the hopes it will be of help to someone else. We had tables set around the room and we rotated every 15 minutes. Lots a great information was shared, there is so much to learn in the quilting world.
Lynne Osborn and Ann Caris presented a ruler carrier bag pattern. It is perfect for bringing rulers large and small to classes or retreat safely.
Gargi Hales showed us five ways to paint on fabric, showing samples of work made with each method and the products used.
Helen Lee presented her way of needle turned applique.
Beth Maschewske took us through the steps of making a design on fabric from a photograph or picture.
We also had a family selling some very nice fabric of their Mother’s.
